The Alfred State volleyball team improved to 4-0 with a 3-1 (25-16, 25-16, 23-25, 25-17) victory Keuka on Friday night. The Lady Pioneers recorded 16 blocks in the victory.

Grace Hall (Ellicottville) had a big day recording 10 kills, five blocks, and four service aces while Janae Hamilton (Ellictottville) recorded 10 kills and six blocks. Lera Braun (Waterloo) chipped in 27 assists, 11 digs, and five kills, Valerie Intini (Eastridge) had 15 digs, and Bryanna Godfrey (Tioga) chipped in 14 digs. Jess Padley (Sweet Home) added 10 digs and eight kills.

Megan Calhoun led Keuka (1-2) with seven kills. Kaitlin Burke added 20 digs and Alyssa Rex passed out 13 assists.

The Lady Pioneers head to Elmira on Saturday. They battle Morrisville at 11 a.m. and Mt. Aloysius at 3 p.m.
