The Alfred State men's soccer team wrapped up the 2015 season with a strong effort in a 2-0 loss to Penn State Behrend. The Lions improve to 15-2-1 while the Pioneers finish 4-11-2.

Christian Harrington connected on a penalty kick at the 28:23 into the contest to get the Lions on the board.

Matt Dziadosz added an insurance goal in the 50th minute when he found the top left corner of the net after getting a pass from Harrington.

Penn State Behrend held a 17 to 4 shot advantage in the contest. Jacob Bartz (West Seneca) had three saves in the 1st half and Kenneth Allport (Hilton) made four saves in the 2nd. Joel Solomon made two saves to record the shutout.

The game marked the end of the career of four Pioneer seniors, Torrey Jinks (Dayton, OH), Kyle Jones (Wilson), Shayne Joyce (West Irondequoit), and Mitchell Porter (Alfred Almond).
