The Alfred State volleyball team earned a pair of victories at Keuka College on Saturday. The Lady Pioneers defeated Keuka 3-1 (18-25, 25-16, 25-20, 25-20) and Utica 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-15).  

Jess Ramsey (Tioga) was key in the victory over Keuka. She recorded 31 digs and six service aces. Kay Pfleghardt (Tioga) led the team with 10 kills and chipped in 20 digs, Lera Braun (Waterloo) had 27 assists, 11 digs, and five kills, and Janae Hamilton (Ellicottville) chipped in nine kills. Jess Padley (Sweet Home) and Madison Szpaicher (Ellicottville) both had 10 digs.

Pfleghardt recorded 12 kills and 13 digs in the win over Utica. Ramsey registered 29 digs, Hamilton finished with 10 kills, Braun passed out 40 assists, and Szpaicher was credited with seven kills.

On the day the Lady Pioneers recorded 22 service aces.

The Lady Pioneers (5-2) head to Hilbert College on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
