Breanna Knight netted a hat trick as Buffalo State defeated Alfred State 8-0 to end the Lady Pioneers nine game unbeaten streak. The Bengals improve to 4-4-2 on the year while Alfred State falls to 8-3-1.

Six different Buffalo St. players scored as the Bengals outshot the Pioneers 20 to 8. Knight led the way with three goals while Tianna Hatch had a goal and an assist.

Jessica McCarey and Nicole Torres combined to make five saves in the shutout for Buff State.

The Lady Pioneers play their final home game of the season on Sunday when they host SUNY ESF at 1 p.m.
