The Alfred State volleyball team fell 3-0 to both SUNY Oswego and SUNY Geneseo in day one of the Oswego Fall Classic.  The Lady Pioneers are now 8-3 on the year.

Lera Braun (Waterloo) registered 14 assists and five kills vs. Oswego (25-17, 25-15, 25-16) while Mallory Eberhardt (Lyons) finished with eight digs and five kills.  Ashley Hulse (Hammondsport) chipped in five kills.

Braun led the Pioneers with 11 assists, five kills and four digs in the 25-22, 25-16, 25-23 loss to Geneseo.  Eberhardt chipped in 10 digs and three kills.  Alfred State was slowed down by eight service errors.

The blue & gold continue play at Oswego on Saturday when they battle Elmira (Noon) and Hamilton (2 p.m.)
