Cold temperatures and snwo outside the gym didn't slow Tommy Hutson (Brooklyn/Susan McKinney) inside Fredonia's Steele Hall.  Hutson scored 30 points but the Pioneers fell 79-65 to Fredonia State.

Hutson was 10 for 18 from the field and 8 for 9 from the foul line to lead all scorers with 30 points.  Adam Fezza (Southhampton) finished with 14 points and Tavon Moore (Syracuse/Bishop Grimes) chipped in 11.

Tyrone Clark led Fredonia with 26 points while Robert Lyles scored 18.  Four Blue Devils finished in double figures.

Alfred shot just 35.2% from the field while Fredonia shot 56%.  Fredonia also held a 19 to 5 advantage in bench points.

The Pioneers return to action on December 30th when they take on Medaille College in the first round of the Mavericks Holiday Tournament.
