Mike Galton has been added to the Alfred State Wrestling staff this year as an Assistant Wrestling Coach. Galton is an alum of the program and joins the staff after an impressively successful career as a student-athlete at Alfred State.
On the mats for the Pioneers Galton collected many accolades including earning NCAA All-Region honors finishing in 4th place his senior season, reaching a Conference Finals and winning an individual title at the John Summa. His 86 career wins rank 4th all-time in program history for Alfred State Wrestling.
Galton earned his bachelor degree in Construction Management in the spring of 2022 from Alfred State and is working full time as a Civil Field Engineer II for Kiewit Corp. Galton resides in Elmira, NY.Â
