Jacob Steele has officially been added to the Alfred State Wrestling staff this year as a Volunteer Assistant Wrestling Coach specializing in working with our heavyweight wrestlers. Steele is an alum of the program competing during the 2023-24 season before transitioning into a mentor role.
During his lone season of collegiate competition Steele finished with a winning record that included 10 victories, 9 of which came by way of pin fall. Additionally, Steele advanced to day 2 of the very tough York New Standard Invite and earned a 4th place podium finish at the Adrian Invitational. Â
Steele earned his associate degree from Alfred State in Culinary Arts in the spring of 2025. Jacob currently resides in Wellsville while pursing a second associate degree from Alfred State studying in our Culinary Arts: Baking, Production & Management program.
