Rochester, NY- The Alfred State men's track and field team competed at the Nazareth Conference Challenge Cup. The team finished fifth of the 16 teams in attendance.
Gavin Stearns won the High Jump as he jumped 1.93 meters (6 feet, 4 inches). Then in the Pole Vault,
Ben VanVranken took second as he jumped 4.45 meters (14 feet. 7.25 inches).
In the Long Jump,
Jordan White finished in third after jumping 6.63 meters (21 feet, 9 inches), with
Tyler Konter taking fourth as he jumped 6.51 meters (21 feet, 4.25 inches).
Aden Alexander jumped 12.90 meters (42 feet, 2 inches) in the Triple Jump to take fourth place.
In the 60-meter final,
Jerome Harmon took sixth place with a time of 7.17. While
Tommy Cycon took sixth place with a time of 8.91 in the 60-meter hurdles.
The team of

Marco Quinteros,
Tommy Cycon, and Myke Waldon took fifth in the 4x200.
The Pioneers will be back in action next weekend, as they travel to a meet at Kent State University.
