Pineda Season Comes To A Close At NCWWC National Championships

Coralville, IA- The Alfred State women's wrestling season comes to a close at the 2025 NCWWC National Championships.

Dianna Pineda was the first wrestler to qualify for the National Tournament, as she wrestled in the 117 bracket. In her first match of the day, she would suffer a loss against Clare Booe (King University). Then in her consolation round matchup, she suffered her second loss to Lanna Walter (Sioux Falls), which knocked her out of the bracket. Pineda finished the season with a 28-19 record. That win total sets a new program record.

The Pioneers as a team finished in a 15-way tie for  50th place.
