Rochester, NY – The Alfred State men's track and field team opened their season at the Nazareth Early Season Invite.
Ethan Hanford posted a ninth-place finish in the 400m with a time of 53.51. In the pole vault,
Ben VanVranken placed tenth with a mark of 4.30m.
Greg Raymond delivered a strong performance in the weight throw, finishing fifth with a mark of 16.12m, earning him a qualification for the AARTFC Championships.
In the long jump,
Tyler Konter recorded an impressive second-place finish with a leap of 6.47m.
In the men's triple jump,
Aden Alexander secured a fourth-place finish with a jump of 12.97m.
The Pioneers will head to Selinsgrove, PA next for the Susquehanna Invite on Saturday, January 17
th.
