University Heights, OH-  The Alfred State women's wrestling team went 1-3 on the day at the John Carrol Duals.  

The Pioneers took down Waynesburg in their first dual of the day, 34-4. After both teams forfeited the 103 and 110 bouts, the Jackets won the 117 match. Kierra Willis secured the first win in the 124 match by forfeit. In the 131 match, Dianna Pineda notched a 10-0 tech fall win. Brooke Walsh tallied a fall in 2:48 in the 138 match to take a 14-4 dual lead. In the 180 bout, Madi Cox notched a 47 second fall. The Pioneers took the 145, 160, and the 207 bouts by forfeit to win the dual 34-4.  

In the dual against Hiram, Dianna Pineda (124), Alexis Haeusler (131), and Christina Paluzzi (138) tallied wins. 

Against Bethany, Allison Strausbaugh won the 180 match. 

The Pioneers will be back on the mat on December 6th at Penn State Altoona for the AMCC Duals.
