Ithaca, NY – The Alfred State women's wrestling team opened their season competing at Ithaca Invitational.
In the 124 bracket,
Alexis Haeusler finished fourth overall after picking up two wins, while
Dianna Pineda finished second overall after tallying three falls.
In the 131 bracket,
Anna Sheahan took second place after notched three fall wins and
Nathalia Santana Hidalgo took third.
In the 145 bracket,
Brooke Walsh placed second after tallying two falls and a win by default.
For the 160 bracket,
Jyla Johnson placed third after picking up a fall win. Then in the 207 bracket,
Hannah Grawn finished second with two fall wins.
The Pioneers will be back on the mat this Sunday, November 16
th as they head to Millersville, PA for the Millersville Open.
