Alfred, NY- This week's Pioneer Athletes of the Week are Christian Wescott (Men's Cross-Country) and Erin Drewiega (Women's Soccer).
 

Christian Wescott (Henrietta, NY, Rush-Henrietta) was the first to finish for Alfred State as he took eighth place overall at the Highlander Invite. He crossed the line in 25:17.9 which set a new Alfred State record.

 

Erin Drewiega (Springville, NY, Springville Griffith Institute) helped the Pioneers to a win over Mount Aloysius as she tallied a goal and two assists. This win pushes the Pios to 4-0 in conference play.
