Alfred, NY- This week's Pioneer Athletes of the Week are Max Knight (Men's Cross Country) and Isabella Hoffmann (Women's Soccer).
 

Max Knight (Jamestown, NY, Jamestown) was the first Pio at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational to cross the finish line as he took 65^th place. He finished the 8k race with a time of 26:54.8.

 

Isabella Hoffmann (Walworth, NY, Ruben a Cirillo) led the Pioneers to a 1-0 start in conference play, as she tallied two goals and an assist for five points in the win over Carlow. One of her goals was considered the game winning goal as well.
