Utica, NY-  The Alfred State women's wrestling team went 1-2 on the day as they picked up a win against Buffalo State 35-10. The Pioneers are now 5-10 on the season.

In the dual against Buff State, after a forfeit win for both teams, Evelissa Zayas notched a fall win in the 124 match to take a 10-5 lead. Following another Buff State win, Ethe Hemphill (138), Allison Strausbaugh (180), and Hannah Grawn (207) tallied fall wins along with two forfeit wins, gave the Pios the lead as they went on to win the dual 35-10.

In the dual against Utica, Hemphill (180) and Grawn (207) picked up forfeit wins. Then in the dual against Western New England, Dianna Pineda tallied a fall win.
