Alfred, NY- The Alfred State Women's Wrestling team grabbed two wins in their Tri-Meet tonight against Felician and Maine Maritime.
 
In the match against Felician, Dianna Pineda took a win by fall in 4:07 in the 117 match-up. Then in the 131 match, Anna Sheahan notched a win by fall in 1:19. Emily Brown would then go on to win the 160 match by fall in 1:55. Allison Strausbaugh took home a win by forfeit. The score at the end of the match was 20-20 resulting in a tie break #9 which means Alfred took home the win.
 
In the match against Maine Maritime, Evelissa Zayas notched a win by fall in 1:41 in the 124 match. In the 207, Hannah Grawn took a win by fall in 1:33. Pineda, Sheahan, Strausbaugh, Brooke Walsh and Ethe Hemphill all took home wins by forfeit. In the exhibitions, Hemphill grabbed a win in the 145 match, in 1:09. The Pios took home this match 35-5.
 
The Pioneers will be back on the mat tomorrow at Utica University at 10 am.
