Williamsport, PA- The Alfred State men's soccer team fell 2-1 in a close match against Penn College. The Pioneers fall to 6-3 on the season.
Ryan Masi was able to score the Pios lone goal. Alexander Preston tallied one save on the night.
Penn College was able to score the games first early in the first half. Masi would then tie the match at 1-1 in the 40th minute heading into the second half.
Late in the second half, the Wildcats would score a second to take the lead. The Pioneers then got off three good looks, but none were able to get past the goalkeeper, as Penn College went on to win.
The Pioneers will return home this Saturday for their conference opener against Mt. Aloysius.
