Alfred, NY- The Alfred State women's wrestling fell in their opening dual to Delaware Valley 41-8. The Pioneers drops to 0-1 on the season.

After three ASC forfeits, Dianna Pineda took the mat for the 124 match. Pineda took a 10-3 lead into the second period. Josey Wehr tied the match at 10-10 before Pineda notched a four-point takedown as time expired to get the 14-10 win. Later in the 180 match, Emily Brown picked up a forfeit win.

The Aggies would go on to win the dual 41-8. The Pioneers return to the mat Sunday November 10^th at 2 pm in Orvis Gym.
