Pioneers Remain In Seventh Headed Into The Final Day

Buffalo, NY-  The men's swim and dive team stays in seventh at the end of day two of the AMCC-SUNYAC championship. They tallied 173.5 points so far.

Derek Mrachko earned a spot in 400 IM B – Final and took 12th with a time of 4:34.25.

Riley Hoyt took first in the B – Final of the 100 Breast, he pulled away to touch the wall in 59.96 to take ninth.

In the 100 back, Parker Brod took 14th place with a time of 57.60.

Fred Ginder took 13th place in the 200 free with a time 1:48.95.

Then Dominic Mintz took 14th in the 100 fly after touching the wall in 54.89

The team of Brod, Hoyt, Mintz, and Ginder took seventh in the 400-medley relay with a time of 3:42.57.

The Pioneers will be back in the pool at 10 am for session nine. The current top three team rankings are: 1. Cortland- 567, 2. Penn State Behrend- 469, and 3. Oswego- 306.5.
