Fredonia, NY- The Alfred State mens swim and dive team stays in fourth place through 26 events with a score of 671.
The team of Parker Brod, Riley Hoyt, Derek Mrachko, and Owen Baker took fifth in the 200-medley relay.
Mrachko followed with a fifth-place finish in the 400 IM with a time of 4:39.36. Then in the 100 fly, Dominic Mintz came in fifth after touching the wall in 55.15.
Fred Ginder would come away with a fourth-place finish in the 200 free with a time of 1:49.31. Baker would take eighth in that event with a time of 1:55.90.
In the 100 breast, Hoyt took sixth with a time of 1:01.24. Brod followed with a sixth-place finish in the 100 back after touching the wall in 57.51.
The team of Mrachko, Hoyt, Baker, and Ginder took third in the 800 free relay with a time of 7:28.97.
Conor Compton competed on the 1m board with a 539.60 to set a pool record along with a AMCC and school record.
The Pioneers will be back in the pool for day three of the Blue Devil Invite with prelims starting at 10 am.
