Gabriella Thurmond (Ithaca, NY, Ithaca) tallied her 1000^th career assist in yesterday's match against La Roche. She recorded 28 assists in the three-set match to got along with her eight digs. On Wednesday against Pitt-Bradford, Thurmond tallied 45 assists and 10 digs. Looking at the record books, Thurmond becomes the fifth Pioneer to surpass the 1,000 assist mark in the NCAA era.
