Pioneers Wrap up Competition at Oberlin

The Alfred State women's swimming team wrapped up the Oberlin Invitational on Sunday. They finished 9th out of 13 teams after scoring 303.5 points during the three day event.

Mikaela Snayczuk (Machias/Pioneer) was 13th in the 200 breast in 2:43.08 while Veronica Boller (Wales/Iroquois) was 17th (2:51.68). Payton Armstrong (Highland Mills/Monroe Woodbury) was 20th in the 100 back.

The 400 free relay team of Alina Kisluk (Hamburg), Boller, Kelsey Lynch (Wellsville), and Elizabeth Jurs (Elba) finished in 12th in 4:14.44.

Alfred State is back in action on January 11th when they host Franciscan.
