Men Sit in 2nd After Day One of AMCC's

The Alfred State men's swimming & diving team sits in 2nd place after day one action at the 2019 AMCC Championships held at Penn State Behrend.

The 800 free relay team of Ethan Dale (Lock Haven, PA), Anthony Kahwaty (Jefferson Township, NJ), Austin Eckrich (Churchville Chili), and Ryan McDowell (Gananda) finished 3rd in 7:34.85. The B relay team of Ryan Brophy (Midlakes), Aaron Priel (Pioneer), Alexander Gargano (Hilton), and Patrick McFadden (Midlakes) also earned points with a 8th place finish in 8:06.08.

Alfred State has scored 34 points and sit only behind Penn State Behrend's 46. Pitt Bradford is 3rd (26), Penn State Altoona is 4th (22), and SUNY Delhi is 5th (20).

Day two action begins with preliminaries at 10 a.m. followed by diving at 1 p.m. and the finals at 6 p.m.
