The Alfred State men's soccer team lost a 1-0 overtime contest at St. John Fisher on Monday evening.
The Pioneers and Cardinals battle for 90 minutes without either team finding the back of the net. The defensive units and the play in front of Nate Moulton (Madrid Waddington) and Justin Miles kept the game scoreless. Moulton made six saves in regulation and Miles made three. St. John Fisher held a 15 to 7 shot advantage.
Fisher recorded the only shots in OT and after a foul was called in the box Brennan Brown netted the game winner on the ensuing penalty kick with two minutes left in the first overtime.
The Pioneers are right back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Pitt Bradford for a 2 p.m. AMCC contest.
