In his 18 years as head basketball coach at Alfred State, Jerry Jusianiec has led the Pioneer basketball program to 217 victories. The 217 victories and 18 years are the most by any coach in program history.

During the 2016-17 season, the Pioneers won a NCAA DIII era high nine games and had their first player, Tyrone Davis, earn USCAA All-American honors.

Prior to coming to Alfred State, Jusianiec was an assistant coach at Division II LeMoyne College (Syracuse, NY) and Division III schools Washington & Lee University (Lexington, VA), and SUNY Potsdam.

Coach Jusianiec played collegiately at Elmira College where he was a four year starter and MVP his senior year.

Jusianiec also serves as the athletic department's facility manager.  He and his wife Melissa and their sons Maxwell and Jack and their daughter Isabel live in Alfred.

Overall Record at Alfred State: 217-278 (24-76 NCAA DIII)
